Meet Julie

"The Gold Dust was created to offer spaces for people to notice themselves."

Julie Meyfroidt Chapman is a trauma-informed sound therapy practitioner (Academy of Sound Therapy), qualified teacher (University of London), meditation guide and group well-being facilitator.

Julie works with our connection to ourselves, engendering the space to fully commit to the golden energy of self-love and sovereignty, which is our birthright. She has led hundreds of sessions over the years, and the term ‘profound’ has often been used in her feedback. In all of her work, she welcomes you to really notice yourself: you are the gold dust in your own life. Notice yourself….

What exactly is sound therapy?

Sound therapy is a practice that uses sound and vibration to support relaxation, focus, and overall well-being. Research suggests that certain tones and frequencies can help slow brainwave activity, guiding the body into states of deep rest similar to meditation. Instruments such as singing bowls, tuning forks, and gongs produce vibrations that may reduce stress hormones, lower blood pressure, and promote a sense of calm. By engaging both the mind and body, sound therapy encourages the nervous system to reset, helping you feel more balanced, centred, and restored.

"I feel sound medicine has had a dramatic impact on my physical health as well as my chronic insomnia. When I first started coming to your sessions, I was unable to sleep more than two hours and had chronic health conditions. After four months of regular sessions, I was able to sleep deeply and peacefully for six hours, and my health conditions have dramatically improved."
